Answer the phone
A live dispatcher, 24 hours a day. If you have a load with us, you have someone to call about it at 3 a.m.
EZ Distribution was built by people who spent years on the other side of the phone — waiting on a carrier that would not call back. We started this to be the one that does.
Not literally missing — just untraceable. No one could say where the truck was, when it would deliver, or why the invoice came in $400 over the quote.
So EZ Distribution was set up around the three things shippers actually complain about: nobody answers the phone, nobody knows where the load is, and the bill does not match the quote. Every operating decision we make gets measured against those three.
That is why dispatch is staffed around the clock rather than forwarded to voicemail, why every tractor carries GPS and an ELD, and why accessorials are quoted before you book instead of discovered afterward. It is not a revolutionary model. It is just the one we wanted to buy.
Today we run our own tractors, trailers and box trucks out of our Dallas distribution center, store and cross-dock freight under the same roof, and reach the rest of the lower 48 through a carrier network we vet ourselves.
These are not posters in the break room. They are the standards we hold dispatch and drivers to, and the ones you should hold us to.
A live dispatcher, 24 hours a day. If you have a load with us, you have someone to call about it at 3 a.m.
If a load is going to be late, you hear it from us first — with a plan attached, not an excuse.
All-in rates with accessorials disclosed up front. Scope changes are the only thing that changes an invoice.
Any unit with an open defect, or any driver out of hours, does not run. Safety decisions are not negotiable against a delivery window.
A small operation only works if you know exactly who to call. Here is who does what.
Books loads, assigns drivers, tracks freight and answers status calls. Staffed 24/7/365. This is the desk you will talk to most.
Owns driver qualification files, drug and alcohol testing, CSA monitoring, DOT audits, insurance certificates and claims.
Runs the dock, cross-docking, inventory counts, pick-and-pack, and inbound and outbound scheduling.
Credit applications, rate confirmations, invoicing, PODs and payment terms. One invoice per shipment or consolidated weekly.

Start with one shipment. Most of our contract accounts began as a single load somebody needed covered on short notice.
