Terms & conditions
Last updated September 2026
These terms govern your use of this website. Freight services are governed separately by our rate confirmation, bill of lading, and any written transportation agreement between us — those documents control if anything here conflicts with them.
Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our services, request quotes, and contact us. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, or submit false information through our forms.
Quotes and rates
Rates quoted through this site or by email are estimates based on the information you provide and are valid for the period stated in the quote. A quote becomes binding only when we issue a rate confirmation for a specific shipment. Rates are subject to change if the actual freight differs from what was described — including weight, dimensions, commodity, accessorial needs, or the facilities at either stop. Detention, layover, reconsignment, redelivery and similar charges apply as disclosed in the quote or rate confirmation.
Transit times
Transit times published on this site are estimates based on normal operating conditions. They are not guarantees. Unless we have agreed in writing to a guaranteed delivery service, we are not liable for delay, and we are never liable for special, incidental or consequential damages arising from delay.
Freight services and liability
Carriage is subject to the terms of our bill of lading and, where applicable, 49 U.S.C. § 14706 (the Carmack Amendment). Cargo liability is limited to the amount stated in our bill of lading or rate confirmation unless a higher declared value has been agreed in writing and the applicable charge paid. Claims must be filed in writing within the period set out in the bill of lading. When we arrange transportation as a broker rather than as the carrier, we act as your agent in arranging capacity and our liability is limited accordingly.
Shipper responsibilities
- Describe the freight accurately, including weight, dimensions, commodity and hazard class
- Package, block and brace freight adequately for motor carriage
- Disclose hazardous materials and provide required documentation before pickup
- Provide accurate addresses, contacts and receiving hours
- Load and unload where the agreement calls for shipper or receiver loading
Payment
Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice — Net 30 on approved credit unless otherwise agreed. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the rate permitted by law, and we may suspend service on delinquent accounts. Offsetting a claim against freight charges is not permitted.
Intellectual property
The content, layout, graphics and logos on this site are owned by EZ Distribution, LLC and may not be copied or reused without written permission, other than ordinary browsing and printing for your own reference.
No warranty on site content
This site is provided on an “as is” basis. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for damages resulting from your use of the site itself.
Third-party links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Dallas, TX.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new date. Continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance.
